This is broken.
I get an absolute metric shitload of:
include/asm/dma-mapping.h:309:2: error: #endif without #if
errors, and I suspect it's because of some broken merge resolution that
you didn't even test and then fixed in some later branch.

This generates _tons_ of new warnings for me:

net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_ftp.c:344: warning: passing argument 2 of =

Please fix ASAP.
Pulled, but unhappy about warnings in my limited configuration.

Ahh, yeah, sounds that way.

Tejun - do you know whether _any_ distro will boot with
CONFIG_DEBUG_BLOCK_EXT_DEVT=y?
It does sound like perhaps the option should be hidden more, if it's
really only reasonably enabled for some very specialized distro debuggers,
not normal kernel people.

Ok, so I finally looked at the patch, I quite frankly, I think it's
fundamentally wrong.
This is just an example of the wrongness:
-module_init(uhci_hcd_init);
+module_init_async(uhci_hcd_init);
-module_init(ehci_hcd_init);
+module_init_async(ehci_hcd_init);
-module_init(ohci_hcd_mod_init);
+module_init_async(ohci_hcd_mod_init);
-device_initcall(pci_init);
+device_initcall_sync(pci_init);
because there is absolutely _no_ excuse for doing the PCI part of the
probing asynchronously.
The "ohci_hcd_mod_init" part is _especially_ dangerous, because clearly
nobody looked at the OHCI setup sequence, which includes a lot of odd
devices and not all of them at all PCI-related etc.
